Bedapalooza: making beds for homeless dogs

Thanks to just a fgew of our WONDERFUL donors:

Dylan & Lily ran a Lemonade Stand at their family garage sale to raise money for Bed-a-Palooza. They raised $160!!! WAY TO GO! Their efforts will pay for 8 beds!

Julie Benson & her dog Shelby heard about Bed-a-palooza through their Dog Scout Troop #104. Julie took action by spreading the word. She contacted Celebrity Pet Co. in Livonia and they donated a TON of items, including at least 300 collars and boxes of blankets! These items are badly needed at the shelters and will be put to good use.

Bed-a-Palooza 2010

We are please to announce that Bed-a-Palooza 2010 was a HUGE success thanks to you! We made out goal of 100 beds and will continue to make more beds until no no shelter dog is sleeping on the floor. This cause has taken on a life of it's own! So a website has been created that is dedicated to the Bed-a-Palooza effort! Just because a dog is homeless shouldn’t mean he has to sleep on a cold floor……..

So, we have decided to make them beds!
